Our stay at Galloway Downs was exactly what we needed. Beautiful views and peaceful surrounds. The home itself was perfectly furnished and decorated without being cluttered or distracting and the main bed was incredibly comfortable. We especially appreciated the indoor fire heater which made it so cosy during the rainy and cold weather. Unfortunately, we were unable to use the outdoor fire pit, but the set-up was really lovely under the stars. The kitchen was well equipped, and the coffee machine was a standout. The fresh eggs and other kitchen essentials provided were a thoughtful touch that didn’t go unnoticed. But the absolute highlight were all the beautiful, friendly animals. They were so fun to interact with and watch as they roamed around the property. Such a welcoming and special place – and it’s dog friendly! Our little pug had a ball. We’ve recommended Galloway to family and friends and hope to return ourselves again soon. The only downside? Having to leave! Thank you 🙂
